Calligraphy Ball
a hollow welded metal sphere made up of many long thin metal shapes like the sweeping ink marks of a calligraphy brush
The Calligraphy ball is a hollow sphere sculpture built up from many long curved pieces of steel that echo the marks made by a calligraphy brush. It is a stylised clean lined more minimal sculpture that fits well with a modernist garden design. It has the option to have a powder coat colour applied after the sculpture has been zinc coated.

- Siting and fixing
- The Calligraphy Ball sculpture works well on open lawns and in terraced areas to draw the eye into or around the space. They also work well in pairs or groups and as indoor pieces. We provide fixings for soft ground or resin anchors for hard surfaces.
- Care
- The surface requires no additional care to maintain the finish outdoors but if there is a powder coat colour applied use a soft cloth for cleaning only, as abrasion could harm the powder coating. Powder coat colour fades over time, due to the UV light outdoors, typically several years to see noticeable changes.
