Understanding your requirements
We usually answer your first email enquiry with a variety of images of the sculpture, the price, current lead times and any delivery charge applicable to your location. This should gives you a clearer understanding of the sculpture you are interested in but we are always happy for you to make an appointment to visit our site to see the sculpture in our garden. We are also very happy to discuss your queries over the phone or via a video call if this is helpful.
We can send you images of how the piece is installed and discuss the fixings you require. Before proceeding to an order we will check that your site has suitable access for our delivery trolleys from the vehicle drop off point to the site for the sculpture, or if not, we will work out an alternative access plan with you.
Deposit Payment
Once we have a clear understanding of all of your requirements we will confirm the price and invoice for a 50% deposit, payment of which secures your place on our making list.
Making Time
We then make your sculpture which usually takes around 6 weeks depending on the time of year and the complexity of the piece. From a deposit paid order to delivery the process takes 6-8 weeks for most pieces but a large and complex piece like the Mushroom tree will take longer, approximately 10-12 weeks.
Delivery
Once complete we will contact you again to agree a suitable delivery date with you. At this stage we will invoice the balance. Full payment is required prior to delivery.
Placing and Staking Down
On the delivery day we will place the sculpture for you and, if it is going into soft ground, we will dig the ground to set the base plate as necessary, stake it down and replace the earth. This usually takes 2-3 hours on site.
If it is going onto a pre installed concrete pad we will discuss a resin anchor fixing plan with you in advance of the delivery.
